Amended Viewpoint (of the Press)

RE: "War on Rights" (editorial Aug 1, 1996):

I am normally dismayed by members of the journalistic
profession, believing them to be hypocritical defenders
of the First Amendment while ignoring the rest of the
Bill of Rights.  Today, I see there is a traitor in their
midst, someone concerned about the loss of personal rights
disguised as federal protections.  I applaud your efforts 
in supporting the Fourth, Fifth and Seventh amendments in
your editorial.  I'd sure like to see your support for
the Second, Ninth and Tenth.
