• Hotspots link portions of an image to a .htm file or web site in a similar way that hypertext links a word or phrase to a web site.

• The 5 colored boxes above are really all part of a .gif file named fancy.gif. Using X & Y coordinates of each box's upper, left and lower right corners I can define each box as a hotspot that links to a .htm file.
